Hey there!

I am totally thrilled to e-mail you on behalf of Garr Reynolds to invite you

to help staff the User Group Booth at Macworld Expo/San Francisco 2003!

After reading the following, please respond by Tuesday, October 29th, w/ the

appropriate box(es) checked (you may check more than one box, if you like):

  [ ]  I would be interested in staffing 10am-12noon

  [ ]  I would be interested in staffing 12noon-2pm

  [ ]  I would be interested in staffing 2pm-4pm

  [ ]  I would be interested in staffing 4pm-6pm

[ ]  I would not be interested in staffing

As some of you may know from Macworlds past, Apple had a User Group Booth at

Macworld Expo, and the Apple User Group Program manager would select and

schedule volunteers to help staff it.

This year, IDG Expo is generously donating space for the User Group Booth,

and Garr is asking if L.A. area MUG Leaders would like to help staff the

booth, so if you want to, this is your chance!

Macworld Expo/San Francisco Exhibits are open Tue-Fri, 10am-6pm
(w/ Tue

opening at 10:30am, and Fri closing at 4pm).  At this point in time, we don't

know which specific day we'll cover, but we'll find out before Macworld.

What we would like to find out right now is who is interested and which

2-hour shift(s) you prefer.  Once we hear which day Garr has in mind, we'll

let you know to see if we have any conflicts.

If you are interested in helping to staff the booth, make sure you

pre-register for the Exhibits for free (and save $35!) by Mon, Oct 28th, by

using user group special discount code "D-AUG03"

Staffing the User Group Booth is a *lot* of fun, not to mention the fact

that you get to meet all kinds of people and can tell them all the cool things

your user group does, etc.  You might even make Apple's User Group pages!

So check your schedules, pre-register yourself for free
(!) by Mon, Oct 28th,

then check the appropriate box(es) above, and get this back to me by Tue, Oct

29th!  I'll look forward to seeing you up there!

Sincerely,
