OUR VERY FIRST Gay MacJeopardy Tournament was a huge success, but very low-tech in that we actually wrote the answers out on large pieces of paper and taped and stapled them to the wall. This year's tournament is completely HTML-based, allowing us to incorporate gifs, sounds, and, best of all, the correct questions!

Saturday, October 11th, is National Coming Out Day! We Lesbians, Gays and Bisexuals don't really have a lot of holidays/"holy days," but NCOD is certainly one of them. Celebrate in style; Go see In & Out! --- Come out to someone who loves you. Coming out is the greatest gift you can give yourself as well as to those around you.

Tuesday, October 21st, 7:30pm, LAMG's President, Eliot Kaplan, will present "Before You Buy A Mac" for *free*! "An unexpurgated overview of your mission and options. Friday-Saturday, October 24th-25th, MacWest Expo '97 takes place at the L. A. Convention Center. Admission to the Exhibits floor will be $15, or to the Seminars *and* Exhibits will be $75. Saturday, October 25th, may be a good day for QMUG/LA's Advisory Council meeting (we did not meet in September). More will be decided at our Gay MacJeopardy Tournament!
