Friday, March 6th, 10:30pm, Celebration Theatre presents “CyberQueer”! Off of your computer screen and onto this stage, the gay online experience comes to life! Celebration Theatre is at 7051B Santa Monica Blvd, just east of La Brea, and tickets are $15. “CyberQueer” can also be seen Saturday, March 7th, 10:30pm, and every Friday and Saturday through March 28th, same Cyber-time, same Queer-place. Sunday, March 8th, 9pm, Luna Park presents “Butt Pirates of the Caribbean” w/ Captain Diego del Fuego Winnebago Leggoamyeggo, Captain Sweetcheeks, and more! Luna Park is at 665 N Robertson in West Hollywood, and cover is $10 plus a two drink minimum. “Butt Pirates” can be seen every Sunday, same Butt-time, same Butt-channel. Wednesday through Friday, March 11th-13th, 10am-6pm, the Los Angeles Convention Center hosts “Spring Internet World 98.” As of January 9th, over 600 companies had confirmed to exhibit, Apple being one of them. Registration is $25, and is “Open to business professionals only. Business card required.” For more information, call them at 1-800-500-1959.

Tuesday, March 17th, 8:30pm, the Comedy Store presents “the Gay and Lesbian Comedy Show”! Enjoy the best of gay and lesbian comedy! The Comedy Store is at 8433 Sunset Blvd, and cover is $5 plus a two drink minimum. “The Gay and Lesbian Comedy Show” can be enjoyed every Tuesday, same gay-time, same comic-place. Thursday, March 19th, 8pm, Little Frida’s presents “Women with Balls”! Enjoy the best female comics L.A. has to offer. Little Frida’s is at 8730 Santa Monica Blvd, just west of La Cienega. Saturday, March 21st, 10am-1pm, LAMG presents “Windows for Mac Users” at the LAMG Resource Center, at 1640 5th St, #220, in the city of Santa Monica. Thursday, March 26th, 7:30pm, LAMG presents “Microsoft” at the Burbank Hilton at 2500 North Hollywood Way (at the airport) in the city of Burbank. See the latest and greatest that Microsoft has to offer, the ecstasy without the agony that is Microsoft Office 98. Were your Office 4.2 peeves addressed? Come find out! Saturday, March 28th, is “NetDay,” the grass-roots project that organizes volunteers to connect America’s K-12 schools to the Internet. NetDay’s Board of Advisors includes American Express, Apple, AT&T, and others. Wednesday, April 1st, 8pm, the Improv presents “Absolutely Outrageous” comedy! Cover is $10 plus a two drink minimum, and all proceeds benefit Aid for AIDS. “Absolutely Outrageous” can be enjoyed the first Wednesday of each month, the next time being Wednesday, May 6th. Thursday, April 2nd, 9:30am-12noon and 1:30pm-4pm (your choice), Apple and Microsoft present “Think First. Think Fast. Think Different.” Get a first look at Microsoft’s new Office 98 — comprised of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Express, and Internet Explorer — running on Apple’s new Power Macintosh G3, PowerBook G3, and Mac OS 8.1. Sunday, April 5th, 1am, Daylight Savings Time begins — set your clock to 2am and Spring Forward one hour!

Monday, April 13th, 7:30pm sharp, QMUG/LA is proud and excited to present “MacJobs: Employment Opportunities for the Macintosh Advantaged,” a panel presentation by just a few of the many companies here in Los Angeles who actively seek out Mac-savvy individuals; *Bring* *Your* *Résumé*! You won’t want to miss out on this meeting!

And, Wednesday, April 15th, is the last day to file your taxes! Pick up your forms from your local library or post office, and don’t hesitate to call the IRS for help at 1-800-829-1040.
