 Welcome to QMUG/LA window

QMUG/LA invites *you* to our next meeting on Monday, November 9th, 7:30pm,
when we’re proud and excited to be presenting

Word 98
— from drag-and-drop installation, faster launches, better text-wrap and new type-twisting, table creation and editing by drawing and erasing, contextual menus, support for QuickTime (and QTVR), and Office 97 compatibility, to Max, the animated Office Assistant, and some other Mac-first and Mac-only features, it’s a whole new Word, just for you — and

Mac OS 8.5
— from a less than 15 minute installation, an optional active application floating pallette, resizable and reorderable list view columns, and beefier and more consolidated Appearance and new Internet control panels, to Apple’s new HTML-based Help system, “Navigation Services,” QuickTime Pro, Sherlock and so much more, it’s a whole new Mac for just $99 —

at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s newest facility,
the Village at Ed Gould Plaza, at 1125 McCadden,
just east of Highland Ave and north of Santa Monica Blvd.
