Monday, May 15th, read that at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference 2000 keynote, Steve Jobs announced Mac OS X (Consumer) will be available Summer 2000 as a Public Beta, and available January 2001 as a purchasable, shrink-wrapped product.

Sunday, June 4th, answer the call — UCLA *still* needs Lesbians to answer its “Healthcare Needs of Lesbians” Questionnaire from the UCLA School of Public Health. For more information, call (310) 206-5160.

Monday, June 12th, all day and evening, is Pride Day at the L.A.Gay & Lesbian Center, which will be closed in honor of it, therefore QMUG/LA has had to move its June mtng to Monday, June 19th. For more information, call (323) 860-7301.

Tuesday, June 20th, 9am-5pm, attend “Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving on the Macintosh,” which will tackle hardware issues, and continue on through Wednesday, June 21st, 9am-5pm, which will tackle OS and software issues.
