Wednesday, July 17th, go on and watch Steve Jobs’ Macworld Expo/NY 2002 Keynote — a long parade of software demos:  Mac OS X v10.2 to include 150+ major new features such as spring-loaded folders, integrated search, slideshow desktop pictures, QuickTime 6, Sherlock 3, Inkwell (handwriting recognition technology), Rendezvous (zero-configuration technology), beefed up Mail (w/ Junk mail filters) and Address Book apps, iChat, and more, due Sat, Aug 24th;  plus demos of Real Player for Mac OS X, iCal, iSync (for cell phones, PDAs, iPods, other Macs), iTunes 3 (w/ ratings, play counts, normalization, streaming, and “smart” playlists), and new 20GB iPod and 17" flat panel iMac.
