QMUG/LA would not be where it is today without the contributions of its past QORE members. Please join us is thanking, in chronological order:

Rachelle duBey, Co-Chair, Jun ’94 - Jan ’95, is “the Mother of QMUG/LA” <hehehe>. She left for San Francisco, and we have missed her ever since. Wherever you are Rachelle, we hope you are well.

Tony Matthews, Co-Chair, Jun ’94 - Jun ’95, “the Father of QMUG/LA,” was our personable general- and QORE-meeting facilitator.

Michael Cunningham, Hardware Specialist, Jun ’94 - Nov ’94. We couldn’t have presented System 7.5 or Microsoft Word 6.0 as we did without him.

Brian Carpenter, Membership Chair, Oct/Nov ’94 - Dec ’95, created from scratch our FileMaker Pro Membership database which we still maintain to this day! An actor by trade, he appeared in May ’96 in “Breaking the Code,” a play about Alan Turing, the “Father of the Computer,” who also happened to be gay!

Frank Manis, Programming Coordinator, May ’95 - Jan ’96, took responsibility for making several meetings happen.

Ron Burns, our “Minister of Decency,” Jan ’96 - Jan ’97, was Host to all of our QORE meetings during his term, and was the undisputable QMUG/LA Cookie Master.

Loretta Newman, our second female co-chair, Nov ’97 - Nov ’98, attracted more women to the group, and made our *4th* Anniversary a roaring success.

Brad Lohman, our Chief Financial Officer, Jun ’94 - Jun ’01, dutifully collected our end-of-meeting voluntary donations, ran our end-of-year raffles, and maintained our cashbox; Made ~21 presentations in his seven years of involvement; Co-facilitated meetings periodically; Offered incredible moral support and strength to the other officers and to the group.

Martina Wilson, our third female co-chair, Jul ’01 - Dec ’02, was the source of fun questions to answer during Introductions.

Bonnie DeWidt, our second membership chair, Jul ’01 - Dec ’02, did a great job of e-mailing out our monthly meeting reminders.

To all of these people, we extend our sincerest appreciation and gratitude. Thank you all so very, very much!
