Tue, Jun 10th  Quark announced it would ship XPress 6.0 for Mac OS X this month.

Mon, Jun 23rd  Apple previewed some new features in Mac OS X v10.3 Panther
               — new Finder, Exposé, fast user switching — and iChat AV, iSight,
               and new Power Mac G5 at its WorldWide Developers Conference 

Thu, Jun 26th  The Supreme Court struck down sodomy laws in the last 13 states that had them.

Thu, Jul  3rd  Casady & Greene closed their doors.

Wed, Jul 16th  Apple announced its 3rd quarter results,
               $19 million in profit on $1.55 billion in revenue.

Tue, Sep 16th  Apple unveiled new aluminum alloy PowerBooks and Bluetooth keyboard and mouse
               at Apple Expo/Paris. 

Wed, Sep 24th  California banned all spam e-mail. 

Wed, Oct  7th  Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected Governor of California. 

Mon, Oct 13th  Making Money w/ Your Website
               presented by Deborah Shadovitz* and Mario Salinas* 

Wed, Oct 15th  Apple announced its 4th quarter results of $44 million in profit on $1.72 billion in revenue,
               and end of fiscal year results of $69 million in profit on $6.21 billion in revenue,
               compared to 2002’s $65 million in profit on $5.74 billion in revenue. 

Thu, Oct 16th  Apple unveiled iTunes 4.1 now sporting 200 Independent labels, 5,00 Audiobooks,
               Gift Certificates, Allowances, Celebrity playlists, and support for Windows. 

Wed, Oct 22nd  Apple unveiled 1GHz G4 iBooks. 

Fri, Oct 24th  Apple released Mac OS X v10.3 Panther w/ its 150+ new features
               like new iTunes-like Finder windows, Exposé, Fast User Switching, improved Address Book,
               faster Preview PDF viewer, built-in fax capabilities, FileVault home directory encryption,
               Font Book, color-coded Labels, desktop or Docked printer proxies, and much, much more.

Sun, Nov 16th  Apple made the 3rd fastest supercomputer in the world at Virginia Tech. 

Tue, Nov 18th  Apple unveiled 20" iMacs. 

Sun, Nov 30th  Apple opened its 1st retail store outside the U.S. in the Ginza. 

Mon, Dec  1st  A Day Without Art” is observed by QMUG/LA .
