               and “Quicksilver” 733MHz CD-RW, and 867MHz and Dual-800 MHz SuperDrive
               Power Macs at Macworld Expo/NY.

Wed, Oct 17th  Apple announces its 4th quarter results,
               $66 million profit on $1.45 billion in revenue.

Tue, Oct 23rd  Apple unveils its iPod, a 5GB MP3 Player/FireWire hard drive. 

Mon, Nov 12th  Upgrading Your Mac

Fri, Nov 16th  IBM releases ViaVoice for Mac OS X. 

Mon, Nov 19th  Microsoft releases Office for Mac OS X. 

Mon, Nov 26th  Apple’s stock closes above $20 at $21.37/share
               last here mid-July but bubbling above $15/share since then. 

Mon, Nov 19th  Connectix releases VirtualPC for Mac OS X. 

Sat, Dec  1st  A Day Without Art” is observed by QMUG/LA.

Tue, Dec 11th  Companies release software for Mac OS X, like AOL, ICQ 3.0,
               FaxSTF, GoLive 6.0, iPhoto, Windows Media Player, RealBasic 4.0,
               Debabelizer Pro 5.0, OmniPage Pro X, Toast 5.0, and many, many more. 

Thu, Dec 17th  Apple makes Combo drives (CD-RW/DVD) standard on its PowerBooks.

Mon, Jan  7th  Apple unveils its new 700MHz and 800MHz G4 LCD SuperDrive iMac,
2002           a 14" iBook, and iPhoto software at Macworld Expo/SF.
